    本作品集はhirviのメンバーによって2022年に制作されたオムニバスアルバムである。hirviとしては初のCDであり、名刺がわりともいえる作品集である。コロナ禍において活動自粛を余儀なくされた中、メンバーが改めて音楽と向き合い、継続的活動へと繋がる様に願いをこめて制作された。

    This collection of works is an omnibus album, that was produced in 2022 by the members of hirvi. It is the first CD for hirvi, and can be considered a substitute for business cards. While the COVID-19 pandemic restricted many activities, this album was produced with a wish, that each person would experience music again, and continue their normal activities.

同時期に別件のコンピレーション・アルバム用の作品と締め切りの時期が重なっていたため、レコーディング環境や音素材を共有しつつほぼ同時並行で制作。モジュラー・シンセサイザーの音や最近録り貯めていたフィールド・レコーディングの音を軸に使用している。しかし、これまでの作品との大きな違いとしては、それぞれの音色の位相のぶつかり合いによって生じる音響の複雑化を目指すのではなく、位相を整理した上で音色や空間の積層化をより強調するという試みに舵を切っているところにある。
このアルバムに収録されているのはボンクリ・フェス2021に提供した際のバージョンである。

The deadline for this work coincided with that for another compilation album. Therefore, I worked on both the works almost simultaneously, sharing the same recording environment and sound materials. I mainly used modular synthesizers and field recordings that I had recently recorded and stocked. However, the major difference between this work and my previous ones is that I did not aim to make the acoustics more complex by clashing the phases of each tone, but rather to emphasize on the layering of tones and spaces, after organizing the phases.The version included in this album is the one I provided for the Born Creative Festival, 2021 “Electronics Music Room”.
